Non-pork alternative to spam?

Hi, I’d like to try out the spam and pickle diet recommended by Cole on my re-feed days. I’m not too fond of pork though and was looking for an alternative that would give me the same low protein, high sodium and high fat macros. Any suggestions?

Literally any meat you like, and add enough quality fat to get you to a roughly 2:1 ratio. He just mentions spam because it’s preprepared. If you don’t know how to weigh and track your food, this would be a great time to learn. Cronometer > MFP. Much better mineral and micro tracking.

Here’s a sample from notes of proto meals that fit the schema. Some is slightly high on protein, but works for me. Most have protein, some are just fat, that you could then add 20g of protein to:

400kcal per snack, no more frequent than every 2 hrs20g protein + fat to 400kcal

Another thing spam has going for it is a high gelatin content. To mimic that, if you slow cook something like osso bucco or other tough cuts, take some weights, add some fat: wham bam perfect spam substitute.
