I’ve been doing IF for a few weeks now. Good news - I have definitely adjusted and can now easily go 18 hours without getting hungry. I’d love to push this to 20 and OMAD. Bad news - I want to eat something! Any suggestions on how to get past this craving to eat just for the sake of eating? Like I said, I’m not necessarily hungry…I just miss eating. Is it just a matter of time?
When you want to eat, try to drink instead. Or chew a gum, or liquorice roots.
Not the same things, but with these tricks my mind get easily distracted from eating.
Sometimes I end up eating eventually…
If you have to eat something, eat veggies.
Celery is almost no calories, if you like it :)
I just swapped from 22:2 to 17:7.I want to see if I can maintain 6 kg of weight loss after 6 weeks of OMAD.
First thing I noticed was, that I was actually hungrier or having more appetite to eat at 6pm having eaten at 12:30pm than during the previous OMAD weeks.
