Not losing weight

I’m not losing weight due to fasting. I think I may be doing it wrong and I really want to lose weight. My problem is I struggle to get enough calories when I do omad. So I only eat about 600/700 calories and fill satisfied then stop eating. Is there anyway I can make sure I get enough calories? I know it’s a stupid question but I just need some guidance. I also wont be able to workout much since I get busy with school a lot so just wanted to try fasting for now.

Your question is confusing because you say you’re trying to lose weight but then also that you want to be sure to get enough calories. To lose weight you need to be in caloric deficit, so by definition not getting enough calories to maintain your weight.

What js your height and weight? There’s no way to eat only that few calories a day and not losing fat. What do you eat specifically? Do you count the calories correctly?

(Just read other comments, if you’re a girl and within 2 weeks to your period, your body tends to hold water)

I have this problem too so what I do is eat almonds and string cheese to help meet my goals. 1/4 of a cup of almonds has roughly 290 calories I believe so you only need a small amount which is perfect when u feel full already.

Sometimes I’ll boil an egg or 2 as well and eat it to help meet my calorie goals, but for the most part a small amount of nuts is my go to

I just typed out a long answer but deleted it all because I just have this gut feeling. How old are you and why do you want to lose weight? I’m not a doctor, but if your brain isn’t fully developed and you have any sort of body image issue, fasting is not for you. When I was a teenager, this sub would have been so unhealthy for me. You’re in school, you’re clearly working so hard. What about this journey is important to you right now?

Often OMAD you don’t lose weight first month and after that you lose 0.5 kg a week on average. Maybe you just need to give it time?

If you struggle to eat a larger portion OMAD do 19/5, break with a light snack like 2 boiled eggs , make dinner, eat that an hour later and then close window with some fruit.

I don’t really understand how you can eat 700 cal and be satisfied but I wouldn’t calorie count and just get in touch with your body.
