Sounds about right. You can hope to lose about 1/2 a pound per day of fasting. Everything else you describe is well within the margin of error. As I do my log I can see how I lost two pounds between last night and this morning.
The problem with caloric restriction is that your body will do its darnest to achieve homeostasis; if you are doing 1,200 calories in, it will try to operate on 1,200 calories. Being sedentary it makes it extremely easy for your body to pull that stunt.
You may want to try more eating and more fasting; OMAD on a thousand calories a day. It will feel like a ton of food for a single meal, your body will feel like there is abundance, while actually tapping fat reserves for the deficit.
too short to know or matter. weight can bounce up down several pounds over days. keep going with a routine. such as 3 day fast per week, or 3 fast eat 1, repeat, and slowly watch pounds come off over months.
i assume took years put weight on, expect at least months to safely take off.
It’s most likely because your body is holding on to the weight as opposed to burning it because your eating a small amount of calories. I was doing 1400-1600 and the scale wouldn’t budge. I started pushing past 2000 (mind you I do run a lot) and finally the weight started coming down.
