Noticed considerable calorie intake decrease since starting IF

Since starting IF last week, I’ve noticed I really don’t need many calories in order to feel full anymore. My diet has largely stayed the same, but my snacking has decreased dramatically (along with cutting daily pointless Starbucks coffees in the morning lol). It’s crazy how just sticking to a specific eating time schedule can have such a dramatic effect on calorie intake.

For reference, I was consuming around 2500 calories pre IF. Now I’m consuming around 1200-1600. No special diet or anything, just cooking my own food and stop eating when I’m full.

Answer

I noticed that as I’m eating bigger meals and making time to eat the whole thing instead of picking over a couple of hours, I no longer feel the need to snack during my window. And cutting out the morning and late night snacks during my fasting periods significantly reduced my daily calories. I’m also sleeping so much better.
