[Number 2 Warning!] I did a 48hr fast and I barely lost 1lb

I was so disapppointed after reaching the 48hr mark and barely lost 1lb.

But also, I also haven’t >!done the Number 2!< in those 48 hours. Simply because my body didn’t feel like it and I couldn’t force it even when I tried.

Due to my lack of progress, I decided “fuck it” and broke my fast with some soup and lo and behold, it finally happened. And guess what? I instantly loss 3.4lbs on the scale 😂😂😂

I felt good, gross, embarrassed, and was dying of laughter all at the same time.

Fasting sure does do weird stuff to the human body. I’m gonna keep it up!

While it’s satisfying to see the scale drop, one or two readings don’t really give you much information about progress, because of water loss vs bloating etc. You need to look at trends over time. And seeing no movement on a scale one time is a terrible reason to break a fast.
