No.Body fat is also a function of carbs.Carbs stimulate insulin which blocks fat use and promotes conversion of excess glucose into fats.

Body fat goes down when body

  1. Stores less fat
  2. Uses more fat

So to lose body fat

  1. Eat less carbs
  2. Eat to satiation only
  3. Burn more fats by exercising more

Answer

Lots of variables.

If all else is equal in your diet, then yes because total calories will have decreased. And a caloric deficit is really the only want to guarantee fat loss.

But if calories are being equated by increasing carbs/protein, then probably not, but maybe in the short term just because you’d be storing less fat but I’d assume that’s negligible.
