Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt 20g protein (or the 15g), is it really good for you?

I really love how it’s high protein and zero sugar, but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out if it’s actually yogurt. I wonder if it really have more benefits than the actual protein.

Answer

what about it makes you think it’s not actually yogurt? the reason Greek yogurt is so high in protein is because it’s had some of the water content strained out, making it denser. I’m not a fan of yogurt but Greek yogurt is certainly a popular protein option among those who do like yogurt.

Answer

The one hundred cal/15g were a staple of my diet last year (2-4 of them a day ) when I went from 190ish to 165 lbs and I liked the results. Plus, on days you find yourself really hungry before bed I find that one or two are pretty satiating without going overboard on calories.

Answer

I like it, no complaints. It doesn’t have the fat and carbs of regular flavored yogurt. The added benefit is that when you’re deep in calorie restriction towards the end of your cut you can still have something that tastes good and is creamy… I say give it a shot.

Answer

If I do yogurt I get the plain full fat greek yogurt. Mix in vanilla extract and swerve powdered sugar substiture. Add some nuts and sometimed even my vanilla protein powder and turn it into a thick pudding. I try to make sure I know what im eating as much as possible but to be honest those oiko’s taste pretty damn good

Answer

I was eating it regularly awhile back and I remember looking at the label too and wondering what exactly it was, because it says something other than yogurt… I also remember it gave me a weird headache, but I often get headaches an hour or two after eating those high protein “packaged” foods, but I blame it mostly on the sweetener that’s often used in those types of things. If you’re trying to hit a protein goal every day they are tempting, because they taste better than most protein bars and they’re super convenient to keep on hand, but ultimately I decided they just weren’t for me.
