OMAD-ers/20+ hour fasters: How do you ensure you get all the necessary nutrition your body needs?

M29 6’1”. SW ~260, CW ~240, GW ~220/whatever feels ideal/comfortable. I’ve been doing IF for about 3 months and worked my way down to 22:2, but I want to ensure I’m not doing damage to my body. Long walks/hikes nearly every day, weight-lift ~3 days a week. I was thinking about getting athletic greens or something like that. My typical meal is some combination of chicken, ground turkey, rice, broccoli, spring mix. Any other recommendations? Any concerns?

EDIT: After some research, it looks like electrolytes are most important while fasting. Notably sodium, chloride, potassium, and magnesium from what I’m reading. I’ll have salt for the first two. Do supplements break fasts?

Answer

In the morning I take a multi vit, choline, carnitine, B12, and a scoop of Keto electrolytes. (In reality a multi and electrolytes is all that’s needed) For my meals just super nutrient dense foods with as much variety as possible. For example, big rib eye, buttered asparagus, Bowl of keto granola with almond milk, Protein shake with a few berries and half a banana, a few pork rinds, bowl of broccoli with butter and cheese on top.
