Omad meals

On omad atm to lose weight and was wondering.

Does it actually matter what I eat? Like result-wise is it the same to have 1800kcal of steak and veggies vs 1800kcal of ramen and ice cream?

When I started I said I’d eat healthy Omad 6 days a week. And whatever I wanted omad the seventh.

I always eat to full. (When I started my deal with myself was i could eat to full my one meal).

Interesting thing. Over time i enjoyed my healthy meals more and more. And my “cheat meal” less and less. I used to eat a lot of pizza and it really lost a lot of appeal. Bite after bite of monoflavor mostly bread. Compared to steaks. Salmon. Wedge or Greek salads. Fresh tomatoes. Fresh peaches. Chicken Cacciatore.

So try to eat mostly healthy but don’t stress if you went ramen or whatever. Over time your preferences will change to what your biology wants you to eat. OMAD has a way of influencing what you eat in a positive way without using a lot of will power.

Answer

No they are not the same.Calories are not just calories. They are not equivalently fulfilling, 500kcal of ice cream will not satiate you the same as 500kcal of veggies, and they do not bring the macros that your body needs. You’ll probably get sick or not in a so great shape at some point.
