Answer

Think of fasting as a way to help you stay in your calorie deficit, if you find it easier to go longer periods without food then then do OMAD. Since your goal is weight loss you have to be in a deficit to loose weight so make sure when you do eat it’s less than your TDEE, it’s up to you how much lower than your TDEE you go.

Answer

Weight loss is 100% about calories. You can cut your window as little as you like, but if you’re eating more than your TDEE, you’re not gonna lose anything and will probably gain. The idea behind IF is shortening the time you eat, in turn cutting down the amount you eat.

Answer

I use CICO and IF together and they’re very compatible. It’s easy to stay in my calorie deficit because I have less time to eat during the day. A continual deficit means weight loss. I do 16:8 at minimum, but on average I’m closer to 18:6. I like to have lots of snacks, and 1 800 calorie meal.
