I am totally onboard with 2mad but haven’t convinced myself of Omad being as beneficial than 2mad scientifically you know.
I don’t think any IF schedule is necessarily better than any other. It’s just about what works best for you individually.
I personally prefer OMAD because the short eating window means I can lose weight without having to count calories. I also personally prefer OMAD because I always got reactive hypoglycemia — my blood sugar would crash 4 hours after every meal — and with OMAD I completely avoid that issue while I’m at work. No lunch = no crash after lunch.
But it truly is just personal preference. OMAD, 2MAD, whatever — all of them can be equally good and beneficial. You just need to find what works for you.
I think there is a difference in terms of health benefits, if you only care about losing weight, then either is fine bc you are essentially eating less calories, however if you are looking for more than just weight loss which for most is autophagy, then you get higher chances of getting to that stage the longer you fast.
