On day 4 of a possible 14 day water fast for weight loss

Water Fasting to get ripped hopefully! Leaving for a business meeting with the wife and kids to tropical location and want to be in serious shape. Never been ripped in my life but as I approach 40 and realize this could become a possibility, I have become a little obsessed with getting in good shape since my injury. Started out in June of 17 when I ruptured my Achilles playing adult dodgeball. Started eating healthy again and eventually started eating keto. Slowly knocked my weight back to 165 which I thought was my fighting weight when I was floating between 185 - 200lbs(I was 232 at one point over the last 5 years) Well now that I am at 165, my body is not what I envisioned at that weight.

My brother in law just completed a 12 water fast for weight loss and suggested that I do the same to achieve my goals. I already intermittent fast 16/8 and eat keto so I found the transition relatively easy. Being on day four already I feel like it’s mental right now anyway.

2/16/18 - 162.9

2/17/18 - 159.8 (20 minutes on elliptical followed by weights followed by another 20 minutes on the elliptical. Lifted the same amount of weights as I normally do. Felt a little more tired than usual but nothing I couldn’t bare)

2/18/18 - 157.3 (20 minutes on elliptical and it was definitely harder than yesterday. Surprisingly I didn’t sweat as much this time because yesterday was the first day I started putting pink Himalayan salt water. I think. Usual routine with weights. Finish Up with 20 minutes on the elliptical it was tough but I pushed through it )

2/19/18 - 156.6

2/20/18 - 155.6 ( Looks like I have entered into the stage of the fast where I will be losing a pound a day from here on out. Going to add some potassium tonight to my fast. 20 minutes on the elliptical my time at the gym was cut short due to an earbud malfunction and a gym that was packed. Couldn’t get on any machines I needed so I head to BB for new earbuds. That is the last time I go right after work for a while. 9pm is much better)

if you want to loss more body fat percentage off your body, try doing some anaerobic exercise like fast pace walking and some swimming or perhaps some cycling. Because anaerobic exercise uses glucose in your blood stream instead of glycogen in your muscle and liver.

Have a question regarding potassium and magnesium. Yesterday I bought “also salt” which contains potassium chloride, L-lysine mono-hydrochloride, and calcium stearate. Also 70 calories in a quarter tablespoon!?!?

The magnesium I purchased is made by “garden life” relax and restore whole food magnesium. Dude at the store said it had probiotics in it so I was hesitat but it was all the had. Ingredients as follows: magnesium fizz blend, organic pea protein magnesium chelate, organic flavor, lactobacillus plantarum, lactobacillus bulgaricus, lactobacillus acidophilus.

Is this kosher for my water fast? Or should I get other magnesium and potassium? Thanks for the help
