You might be better off bumping up the calories a bit more or do a 5/2 intermittent fasting thing instead.
You want to stay active and consume high protein if you are in a steep deficit to prevent your metabolism just adapting to your lower calorie intake and preserve lean mass.
Body is not a machine
There is a limit to how much stuff can the body absorb per hour
What the body can’t absorb that will go to waste (pee and poop)
Body can absorb 0,7 liter fluid per hour
