I usually fast for fat loss/re aligning my relationship with food. I would do this for up to 36hours, but usually less.
I have been reading/hearing that 16hours is the best fast length for fat loss. Has anyone had any experience with this. I feel it would be more sustainable in an exercise sense, as it would be less draining at the gym.
But does fat loss peak up to 16hrs?
You’d probably see optimal results working out with this approach. BUFF DUDES did a great video on how 16:8 was for them:
Ive done ADF with lifting 4x a week. Lost 10 pounds over the course of a month, but was very lethargic. However there are some out there that see great results with ADF and working out very minimally.
