I used to do 16:8 n it worked wonders, but it’s really not working well with my work schedule so i’m considering 5:2, has anyone tried both?
I’m not a big fan of 5:2 mostly because of the :2.
On those 2 days, the 500 or 600 calories you can can make the whole thing worse for you. If you spread those calories out during the day, then your hunger cues will drive you crazy during the whole day. And if you’re eating it at once, is it really that much of a difference than an actual fast?
Nothing wrong with trying it and seeing how you can use the :2 days to your advantage. After all, IF is finding out what schedule works best for you, so trying new timings is always okay.
