It won’t harm you if taken on an empty stomach, although depending how sensitive your stomach is, it could make you feel nauseous. Just don’t take more than the daily recommended dose of 4,000mg.
I don’t recommend ibuprofen, however, as it’s widely known to cause stomach upset.
