PCOS peeps, what’s your routine?

A lot of things I’ve read for PCOS is about managing cortisol and stress around our food, supplements, workouts. What routine has been working for you? I feel so desperate for something to finally work…

Dairy free? OMAD? Keto only on meals? What time are you cycling meals? Thanks I’m advance, I’m just so tired of trying to work with this body.

Answer

Don’t have PCOS - so sorry in advance. But I just wanted to throw in here that I take Inositol twice daily and it is a supplement that is frequently recommended to those who have PCOS. It can be taken during your fasting hours and will not break your fast. Not sure it’s connection directly to something like cortisol but it looks like it affects insulin. Good luck on your journey, you got this!

I have seen your post just now, I have PCOS too, I know how stressful it can be. But the symptoms and how strongly one experiences them differ from people to people. I have regular periods but high testestrone and insulin resistance. My doctor informed me that my cysts are no threat at this moment, they are too small but causing hormonal unbalance.

So, my goal is to beat insulin resistance and for that by using the IF system, I am losing weight. Doing 22:2 mostly, but if i cannot at least 16 hours. This is my rule. And now acoording to my test results, my sugar levels within the normal range. So, that is one victory against PCOS.

In where i live, there is economical crisis so protein sources are expensive as hell. If I could, I would go with low-carb or Keto style. It really depends on what you want to fix first PCOS has destroyed.

There are some recommended supplies, i want to try spearmint tea myself. I wish you very best of luck :)
