I’ve had similar experiences while eating OMAD too. No cramps, no PMS, lighter overall (mine used to be extremely heavy so lighter is better) and slower to begin with brownish colors, switching to bright red later on.
Yeah, I’ve had a variety of period changes with dietary changes, caloric intake changes, exercise regimen changes, and especially weight loss. (I assume you’ve been steadily losing weight while OMADing.) Sometimes that has included something like what you’re describing here. Periods can be sensitive to even minor changes in our habits.
Our hormones can get a little wacky with weight changes. I lost a significant amount of weight about a decade ago, and the effects on my cycles were wild. lol
Oh god yeah.
Started OMAD and upping my exercise in June and have lost 42lbs. The past four months my cycle went from 28-29 day average to 25-26 day average. My periods are also a day longer. The shitty thing is, I can’t predict it the way I used to so sometimes it’s a surprise lol. I think there was also one month where my period was 6 days late and I was like what the hell!
