Hey everyone, so I’ve been doing IF since last summer. I’ve done all different types but right now on 20:4 and I can do the eating part easily. My problem is pre workout. I go to the gym 6 days a week and I take pre workout for half (tempting to take everyday but hold myself back) the problem is on days I have school and work I can’t workout until late. So usually I just don’t take it to avoid breaking the fast but then my workout is just not the same. My question is do you think it would be worth it to break the fast 2 maybe 3 nights a week to burn more calories while at the gym or just only take it during my 4 hour phase.
What is in the preworkout that you like? I work out about 6 hours before I break my fast, and I just drink some black coffee beforehand. If you want other things that can be in preworkout like beta alanine, BCAAs, creatine, etc., you could buy those separately on BulkSupplements and just mix them into your water with some zero calorie flavoring.
