I bought a bunch of lunch meat, cheese and bread. I want to make a bunch of sandwiches, then wrap/bag them and freeze them. Is there anything I should know about before doing this so I do not waste food?
I think you might be disappointed by the texture when they thaw out. I’d recommend freezing the components separately, like wrapping single serving size portions of the deli meat. You could let them thaw and then build a sandwich. If you’re dead set on assembling before you freeze, I’d suggest building sandwiches that you plan to heat up (like a toasted ham and cheese).
