I’ve attempted IF a couple of times (16:8) and have problems with constipation after a few days. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas for solutions?
This would probably be dependent on a) type of food you’re eating, b) how much water you’re drinking and c) medications you are taking. Probably need some insight into these factors before offering advice. (Though a medical practitioner would be your bestest bet).
This is a chronic issue for me that predates my experience with IF. What has helped is drinking plenty of water (I aim to drink 3 litres daily), and I also consume psyllium husk in tablet form. You may also want to try magnesium citrate, which has a laxative effect, if you don’t wish to take psyllium husk.
