Have anyone done this? I work in retail and I’m scared to do prolong dry fasting. My day consist of lots of walking, packing out boxes (bending, reaching for items, etc.) The longest I’ve done is 39 hours (it was my first time trying dry fasting by the way.)
The first time i reached 4 days of dryfasting, (few weeks ago) ive had to dishwash 3 evenings. From like average 17pm till 23pm each day.
It helped alot because working makes me occupied, which made time fly
I used to work at a very busy McDonalds. While working there I did my fair share of prolonged dry fasting (3-4 days) I was VERY active at the job, carrying boxes, taking orders, making the orders you name it. I would only recommend it if you’ve been dry fasting for a while. I almost passed out once when I was on the 3rd day. The job was physically demanding and I was food and water deprived. But I don’t regret doing the dry fasts because autophagy ramps up when you’re sweating, active and burning calories. And let’s just say after multiple rounds of those dry fasts I felt healed and physically smarter with ideas rushing through my head (fasting causes neuronal autophagy) Anyways I still dry fast now but I’m not active apart from going to the gym.
Drink water to a minimum when you need it. Keep it semi dryfasting on your working days. Because you’re ultimately burning way more energy then being at home resting. Keep the water a minimum and it’ll all even out. It’s not an all or nothing situation. Be flexible.
39 hours as first DF is a lot: very good.I don’t see any problems in pushing to 72/96 hours but I advice to do it gradually and take care of your body signals. You are working but also you are at less than N meters from water and food so as soon your body will ask for them you can promptly take decisions on the body request :)Mind do a let ( for good and for bad ). Also overthinking. Every body is different so test yourself by adding some hours every DF.If you want to add the DF to your life ( as part of your lifestyle ) you need to test and learn.Keep us updated on your progress!
