PSA: 2L of water might be too little for extended fasts

Just increased from 2 to 3 (with electrolytes) and saw a very noticeable difference in my well being. Just thought I could tell others, in case it helps them as well. :)

Used to have slight nausea/headache/feeling slightly weak during my fasts, feeling completely normal now. Also that make sure I have enough in case I lose some by spilling or sweating.

(I do extended fasts, usually 6 days. 2L is perfectly fine for OMAD, never had any problem with it).

Also love to make herbal tea infusion for flavour :)

Usually a good indicator is just how white/clear your urine is.

But everyone should be weary of the signs of overdrinking. You’d go to the bathroom to piss every 30mins, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Headaches, Tiredness, Swelling in the feet. I see this as it’s something that should be noted to know just incase you’’re overdoing it. I’m sure we all know the signs of underdrinking too.

2L though is like some ancient archaic number, similar to ‘7-8 Glasses of Water a day’.

A shorter person with a light build would need far less water than someone tall and overweight.
