PSA: You can overeat between fasts.

If you are doing 24hr, 36hr or 48hr fasts (short term) you still need to track calories... When you break your fast and for a couple of days later, you may feel enough hunger to over-eat what you need to lose weight. You also may justify over-eating and erase your hard earned efforts. ***Calculate your total daily expenditure of calories and multiply it by 7 days. Then, you have to eat less to lose weight.*** Fasting enables us to prolong days between eating and decreases our consumption of calories. You can quickly eat more than you need to, and gain weight between fasting.

Answer

Definately! I was rewarding myself for the successful fasts. Wasn’t losing weight, so started tracking calories and found that I was eating more than the day of fasting lost. It was clean, high quality good food, but still too many calories.
