I have been doing this off and on for a few years, and here is the one question I always have. If you were doing an 18/6 fast and go for 22 hours instead, do you only give yourself 2 hours to eat or go back to 18/6, giving yourself 6 hours to eat? Does that make sense? I think the obvious answer is 2 hours, but with the flexibility of IF, that’s where I get confused. Thanks!
Ultimately it’s whatever you want or feel like doing, but it probably makes the most sense to eat 2 hours and pat yourself on the back for going longer. This puts you back on your normal schedule rather than constantly having to shift things down the line.
