Question about pill capsules

So I read the wiki and it says not to put salts into pill capsules as that will hurt your stomach lining. But I wasn’t even thinking about the medication I take daily that comes in a capsule. Is that bad too? I could probably very easily just consume it without the capsule but I’m not sure if that’s necessary

Answer

Unlike straight salt put in a capsule, prescription medications are formulated to be safe for stomach lining.

If your medication says to take it with food, you should do that, of course. But if it has no specific instructions about food, then don’t worry about it.
