Question regarding spices

Hello, folks. I have a question related to the use of seasoning during intermittent fasting. What kind of spices can break the fast and which ones cannot?
According to my own research, cinnamon is good 30 mins before breaking a fast. But what if I add it to my tea right in the middle of the fast?

Next, I’m really curious about vanilla extract. I simply love ground coffee with salt, erythritol and vanilla. But I am not sure whether it breaks the fast or not.

That said, if both of them do break fast, then are there any alternatives? I never drink plain coffee or tea. I always need to add smth to make it more interesting but I don’t know what doesn’t break fast except for stevia, erythritol and monkfruit…

Answer

None of the spices you mentioned is going to cause sufficient production of insulin that will consider breaking your fast. The exception being erythritol . Depending on quantity it could get your body to produce insulin where it would break your attempts to reach autophagy.
