So I’ve done intermittent fasting and it worked. But I’m a routine guy and lost my job and it all went south.
But for the past 8 months without a job I’ve been going to the gym and it’s the only thing that kept my weight from exploding
Well I’ll be starting work again and IF will be a lot more plausible.
My question, I doubt I’ll be going to the gym as much, but at least 3-4 times a week, can I expect to lose much muscle going less to the gym and IF?
Worst/Best case, IF 5 days a week while at work, and gym sat sun and one day during the week.

Are you trying to lose weight? If so how much?
If you are trying to lose weight as the primary goal then muscle loss isn’t something to really worry about based on my experience. I have been doing IF for 3.5 years and work out all the time. It isn’t a problem to continue to do IF when on maintenance. I find it is really easy to maintain weight. I don’t need to workout to control my weight now that is done only through my diet.
