Questions about refeed and urinating on dry fast

I am now 48 hours into my dry fast which marks my longes time (previous was 36) and I plan to break it around the 72-80 hour mark. I noticed today I an still urinating which is a surprise to me as I assumed my body would hold on to every fluid it can get.

As for refeeds I am a bit confused from this forum. I assumed you need to break a dry fast with electrolyte water or water with baking soda and continue drinking electrolyte water throughout the day however on this forum I see people breaking a dryfast with a refeed meal which is baffling to me. So whats the correct way to do it if say I want to break dry fast Thursday with one meal and be back to dry fasting Friday

Answer

I’d break in the AM with a litre and 1/2 teaspoon bicarb over an hour. Lunch another litre with electrolyte (no bicarb). Then eat any te a couple hours after with fresh water if consuming carbohydrates. You’ll continue to excrete metabolites in urine throughout as it’s harmful if they build up in the bloodstream. Once your deep in the amount of metabolic water produced is pretty astounding
