Do you think the fiber content from other fruits and vegetables in a smoothie offsets the of fiberless orange juice?
A cup of OJ contains a whopping 26g, but I wonder if the effects of that much sugar are dulled by the soluble and insoluble fibers from the other ingredients in a smoothie - like adding chia seeds, etc.
I’m having a hard time eating. If it’s not “dirty” food, I don’t have an appetite and just don’t eat, with the exception of breakfast which I love to eat cottage cheese and fruit, but thats the only time its appetizing for me. Is it beneficial for me to continue to eat the “dirty” food, rather than not really eating at all? If I’m eating my “dirty” good, it’s giving me energy to at least work out and make it through the day, but I know it’s not sustainable. I know it’s just a funk that I’m in, but should I continue this until I’m able to get back to normal or force myself to try to stay clean eating but not get the amount of food I really need?
I have been doing weight training since few weeks and my goal is to get rid of the little tummy and love handles that have started showing up (my work from home since 3 years didn’t help) and gain some muscles instead.
I am not entirely sure how to change my diet but i cut down white rice and sugar from diet and added mung bean sprouts and boiled eggs to my diet. Brown rice is too heavy for me. To be honest, i cant eat much and i feel bloated easily. I stopped tea, coffee, milk, ghee, fried snacks and sweets too.
What other things i should cut out or include in my diet?
Also, I’m taking ON Whey protein Isolate after my weight training, is it really fine?
