I find it easier to remain in control when I am working. If I have a week off, then it can fall apart. So on my days off I make sure to go for a 40 minute walk. If I don’t then I may start thinking about eating. Keeping busy is the key.
You can do it!
I grew up without structure too (and an eating disorder) and it was a long and hard struggle to stick to IF, but, bit by bit, I kept picking myself up after failing more than once.
And here I am now, almost 20kgs down from my highest weight.
Keep going and you’ll get into the swing of it! I’d be happy to be a support-buddy if you need one:)
