Sugar and carbs. Used to think bananas/mangos and pancakes and bread were the worst things you could eat.

Turns out including them in my diet made me much healthier than I was without them.

Also Dairy…. I guess context and the overall picture is important in what makes a good food.

Well I am happy to hear that you’re feeling healthy. It’s just this is anecdotal, and not very reliable evidence. The current research doesn’t back this up. Perhaps your previous diet included some foods that didn’t agree with you, or the diet itself didn’t actually match the recommendations as you thought, I don’t know, maybe you’re just an outlier who functions better with your current diet. What I do know is that for the population as a whole, it’s certainly not healthy as much as my tastebuds wish it were
