Hi I’m on day four of my five day fast. I do plan on reducing my carbs, but I have no intention of counting carbs (I’m cutting out bread, rice , pasta , and things like that but still eating fruit and natural sugars) I am more of CICO person who is just conscious of the heavier carbs she eats.
All that being said when should I introduce carbs? I haven’t seen any straight forward post here. Or does it matter because it was only 5 days. I was really just going to eat watermelon and soup but I read it’s not the best to break a fast.
You don’t need to refeed on a 5 day fast.
You might get an upset stomach, but all you need to do is eat something small, wait a few hours to see how your stomach feels, and you can eat normally then if nothing is odd.
