Resuming fasting after extended dry fast

Hey guys i recently finished an extended dry fast (9 total days)a few days ago and since then i’ve been eating everyday throughout the day with no schedule and i’m wondering when its best to resume my normal intermittent and weekly fasting regimen (no food sundays, sometimes 3 days breaks from food and normally 5 hour eating period for days i do eat)

I’m a little paranoid that i should be fasting again already even though i just ended an extended one but i also feel like i’m still making up for nutrients from the time i was fasting since i’m quite hungry so i don’t know if i should be fasting again, i want to maximize the benefits of the dry fast obviously. thx

Answer

Now I am not a medical professional by any means and I have yet to do a dry fast past 3 days (today is day 3 of my 5 dry fasts). I have only done extended water fast… 17 days. I don’t think it’s about time, but about listening to your body… I would say u can start intermittent fasting again right away, but before going into another dry fast do make sure u are well hydrated and that u feel confident that your body has gotten good nutrients. This may be different for everyone…..I want to do 5 on 3 off but I am not sure if my body will feel that’s a good idea. I think generally if u have a lot more weight to lose then u still have a stored food supply to get u through a fast because u don’t want your body to be pulling from your muscle for fuel. Good luck and I hope this was helpful in some way. By the way, what was your motivation during your day fast and how much weight did u lose, if u don’t mind me asking?
