Personally doing it over the weekend is much harder for me. I have a home based desk job, but it’s super distracting and I am able to not eat very easily until 4/5pm every weekday.
Much harder on the weekend, and much more likely to have social plans that involve food that j don’t want to miss.
I’m doing something similar. Just started my second 72 hour fast, doing it on the weekends.
I’m aiming for a half calorie day the day after then full maintenance in the following days.
I’m only planning to lose about 20 lbs. I’ve done a range of other fasting approaches so far but had mixed success as I tended to not count calories in the off days, thinking my body would hopefully adapt. Didn’t work though. I just ate whatever I wanted and didn’t lose weight.
So, this time it’s calorie counting and low carb, no sweet things beyond fruit.
