Saturated fat and sugar in chobani. Is it problematic?

Seen a recurring theme that saturated fat and sugar can be some of the biggest problems- food wise. So I’m curious to ask- what do you all think of Chobani yogurt?

Thanks

Answer

It could be problematic. It depends on your overall SFA intake. If you are already tracking and limiting SFA, a little more is not going to hurt. But also Moderation is the key. But if you have any health issues that involves SFA (For example say your LDL is high), then limiting will do good to you.

The same applies to sugar, but when it comes to sugar, it’s nearing 20 g (per container) in some Chobani types. That’s not good. At least it’s only about 5 g in Chobani Original non-fat yogurt, plain. So the type of Chobani you choose matters. The non-fat, plain type is healthier than other types. Ultimately, it all comes down to the serving size.
