Dr Fung suggests a very tiny meal, like some nuts or olives and then give it time.

When I first started longer fasts I had a whole protocol—start with bone broth, then move on to miso soup, then some fermented foods. Took over a day to get to regular food.

Turns out my stomach isn’t that sensitive but may be worth trying.
