I’m stuck between fasting from 5PM to 9AM, and 6PM to 12PM. I keep going back and forth ugh!
There’s no right way to schedule your eating window. However, it seems you found a wrong way to do it for you.
So if the 5 to 9 works for you, do that. As long as you can do it relatively consistently and are seeing progress, then it’s probably the right schedule for you.
And make sure you’re eating what you need to be eating. If the binge was caused by you denying yourself some foods, then you need to figure out ways of dealing with it (like incorporating them into your diet) so it doesn’t happen again.
For context, a few weeks ago I started with 18:6, I was eating from 12PM to 6PM, I sort of lost track and focus and failed. I started binge eating and I gained back 15 out of the 22 pounds I had lost. This time around I’m doing 9AM to 5PM, but I feel like it’s a little too easy…
