Shaky and shivering

I’ve been incidentally doing IF for a long time. I don’t get hungry during the day and like to eat in the evening. I’ve been eating less and have lost a lot of weight over the past couple of years and now I’m only about 10 pounds above the official healthy weight range.

Lately, I’ve started getting very shaky (trembling hands etc) and shivering in the late afternoon. I’m always cold, but now usually shivering like that! It has not happened until recently.

I’m not diabetic nor hypoglycemic. I take a medication that lowers electrolytes and I also supplement my electrolytes.

Has anyone else experienced these kind of shakes? Why are they starting now? Should I just eat in the afternoons or do I need to see a doc?

Answer

Oh. Usually I use this as the signal to break my fast, unless it’s in the evening or way before the usual eating time.

If in evening I have a glass of water with electrolytes.

If too early, I have a broth or soup under 100 calories. Warm.
