Sharing a little joy

So, I started on August 8, I have read how the scale went down massively for many people, for me it has been going down, but right now it’s being “slow”, but! I took my monthly measurements, for the waist, abdomen, biceps, hips, and chest, and they all went down! Maybe it’s not impressive numbers but they keep going down, slowly but steady since I don’t want to overcomplicate my life counting calories, I only track protein and do mostly 16:8, although some days it’s 17,18 hours of fasting, I also switched to a full body routine for the gym, 3 days a week and I walk after every meal. I am quite happy because I can see myself doing this in the long run.

So congrats to everyone who is doing this for themselves and don’t mind the scale so much, pay attention to things like measurements too, how you feel, and maybe like me when the jeans are falling off! I also had to adjust my fitness tracker because my wrist got slimmer.

Enjoy !!! It works!

EDIT: Ah, right, I’m a quite short girl, 5’0 ;P

Congratulations!

I’m getting close to maintenance, where I’ll no longer have the dopamine hit of a lower scale number to encourage me and keep me going. So I’ve been trying to really enjoy the NSVs since those will be the main victories once the scale hits the number I want it to.

Good for you for keeping a healthy mindset and not obsessing over the numbers on the scale! Every victory matters and I’m glad you’re feeling good! Keep it going!
