I started Intermittent Fasting on April 7. I am 47 year old Female. Following is the info I noted in my journal.
Starting weight 272 lbs 5’4”
Week 1 (all Intermittent Fasting)
Day 1: 16:8 Day 2: 16:8 Day 3: 19:5 Day 4: 19:5 Day 5: 19:5 Day 6: 17:7 Day 7: 19:5
Weight Lost : 15 pounds
Week 1 highlights: incredible energy; in love with IF; eating carbs cause I wasn’t ready to give them up.
Week 2 (all intermittent fasting) Day 1: 19:5 Day 2: 17:7 Day 3: 19:5 Day 4: 19:5 Day 5: 17:7 Day 6: 17:7 Day 7: 23:1 Weight Lost : 2 pounds Week 2 highlights: had my period; ate fewer carbs but lost much less weight; still in love with IF
Week 3: (mix of IF and longer fasting) Day 1: 20:4 Day 2: 23:1 Day 3 & 4: 48 hours Day 5: 23:1 Day 6 & 7: 48 hours Week 3 highlights: very few carbs, built up to longer fasting times; incredible energy back; still in love with fasting Weight lost: 8.6 pounds Total weight lost so far: 25 pounds in 3 weeks
If anyone wants more specifics on actual food eaten each day let me know.
Awesome! I understand you don’t count calories, but could you guess? Are you eating a lot less with the shorter eating windows? Are you eating better quality food? You mentioned amount of carbs but not whether your food was real or junk. Thanks
