I do around 16-20 hours of fasting daily. Two main meals. I usually eat something before the first meal, to “brake” the fast. Basically some food to activate the system and then eat as normal. Opinions on this? I know is kind of a silly question.
There’s nothing wrong with do this, but it’s not necessary for shorter (less than 24 hours) fasts. I tend to do this, too, but pretty much only because I prefer it. I’ll have a cup of bone broth with a small snack/meal about 2 hours before my main meal. It turns OMAD into 22/2 fasting for me.
