It’s almost 10:00 PM now. I have been supplementing with elctrolytes, but I have begun to feel unwell.
Tomorrow morning, I will have been fasting for almost 4 days. I felt good until today. When I stood up maybe twenty minutes ago, I partially blacked out and my vision went away. I had to hang onto a doorframe for around 30 seconds so that I wouldn’t drop.
I wanted to wait until tomorrow evening to break the fast, because I would be with family by then and we would all eat together. But since I’m feeling so unwell, I’m thinking of having maybe 200cal tomorrow morning just to feel somewhat better. Like a bowl of soup or a small slice of pizza or something like that.
What do you think? Should I break my fast tomorrow morning as opposed to the evening at dinner? I’m sad that I won’t make it to a full 4 days.
Are you just water fasting? In my experience that’s not worth it, but it’s your choice. I’ve been fasting for 24 days now, 11 more to go. There are a lot of reasons why you could be feeling unwell. My guess? Your blood sugar is too low. I’d recommend trying some juice with water. Around 1/3 juice. Or drink some tea with honey.Please don’t eat pizza after fasting, you could get terrible heart burn or stomach aches
A fast that long needs to be broken correctly especially if you’re feeling bad. Hold off on the pizza and in my experience a can of soup after breaking a fast gave me extreme abdominal pain. Break it with a protein drink or piece of fruit then eat a larger meal
