Lately I’ve been eating more sugar heard this thing called dry fasting is like water fasting but more effective… Should I fast for 2 days then go straight into dry fasting or try keto for a week. I feel like I have to ease my body into it.
I feel like it depends.
When I fall back into my sugar addict cycle I like to go for the only beef diet for 2 - 3 days because it is very effective at slashing my appetite. By the 2nd day I struggle to eat and have to force myself to. By the 3rd I can jump into my dry fast without any issues because anything is better than a meal that gives me no enjoyment whatsoever while I also have no appetite anyway.
But what I do like about jumping into a dry fast right away is that I get into ketosis in like 12h, it’s very drastic. Usually if I get headaches from the sugar crash it doesn’t last very long thanks to the quick switch.
