Show me your fasting wins!!

I love seeing posts popping up of peoples’ before and after fasting photos, whether it’s a face comparison, a full body comparison, the scale, or whatever it may be.

Seeing wins is amazing motivation for other group members and I also just love hyping up success. I’d love to have a thread full of peoples’ wins, whether that be photographic evidence (always amazing), stories of the mental journey, or whatever else you’d classify as a fasting win.

I’m near the beginning of what I hope will be a 14-day fast myself, so the timing is extra pertinent. Cheers and happy fasting! ☺️

I lost 5 kg and entered healthy BMI after starting OMAD in August for 2 months. did some 1-3 days fasts in October. barely fasted in November. Ate like nobody’s business in December. back at starting weight. currently on day 1 of restart of the journey. I don’t view it as failure or success. its just high and lows just as the cycle of life, as long as it doesn’t fall in a pit or fly to heaven LOL.

I’ve done fasting years ago but stopped for a long time. I am back at it now — so far I’ve done 6 days of OMAD and one 40 hour fast to test out ADF. I’m down about 6 pounds from starting weight — some of that was of course water/holiday weight but I definitely think at least 1.5 or 2 of those pounds were true weight loss!

I’ve got about 55lbs to lose, and hoping to lose at least 20-25 of those by the end of March for a wedding so I’m feeling very determined. I’m getting 10-15k steps a day, a few days of weightlifting per week, some peloton rides, and fasting, and of course, prioritizing lots of sleep and recovery time too. Let’s do this!

It’s only been about a month and I have lost my chubby face and some in my chest, which is what I wanted. This is so much easier for me because I don’t restrict anything, just have it on eating day. This might be easier for me because I naturally have a meat tooth not a sweet tooth
