Six day water fast. Stomach very upset, constantly burping.

I have done a number of shorter day fasts before and not had this issue. I don’t feel good this time. I’m taking electrolytes and not being very active. I think it’s stomach acid. What can I do that doesn’t mean eating anything else? I wanted to make it to 14 days.

I wonder if something is going around. For 2 weeks now I have been struggling with some sort of constant full gassy feeling. When I have been doing ADF for a year and mostly fasting makes me stomach feel amazing and I shouldn’t be having this much gas.

I have taken gas x and done all I can to avoid any foods that would cause gas, and still I feel like I have gas.

Dude you need stuff to neutralize your acids. If it comes with a burning sensation you could try any acid reductors which are mostly natural, based on calcium or bismuth, not sure what country are your from but we got Rennie in Europe or anything containing Bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto Bismol in the USA). If not you can try baking soda, half spoon, half a glass of water. Dilute and drink. It will neutralize your acids.

Your stomach should stop doing that after day 3 or 4 .that’s usually when the feeding conditioning ghrelin hormone stops priming the stomach for incoming food during your usual eating times.

OP you have nausea and this is a result of the supplements you are taking. If you want to make it to 14 days without nausea. Make your own bone broth + iodize salt. That is superior to any electrolyte supplement out there.

The caveat I will mention about bone broth is to make sure you remove any fat.
