Sleep quality improvement

Have anyone noticed increased sleep quality when fasting? I usually go 18:6 but I also try to incorporate 23:1 (just one meal a day) a few times a week, especially when I do not have time to eat a quality meal more than once a day. It’s pretty irregular, though I’ve noticed that when going to sleep about 9-11 hours after I eat my meal, I wake up after 6 hours, well rested (usually it takes me about 8h). Any1 with the same insights?

Edit: I’m on a “carnivore” diet but incorporating also dairy, honey, and fruit, if anyone wondered,

Answer

Unfortunately, my insomnia/sleep has worsened with fasting. But I also do rolling 70-72’s. It’s a worthwhile trade imo because I do find in general I don’t need as much sleep even if the sleep is, well…worse. Hah.

Glad to hear your sleep is better, though!

Answer

I usually 18:6 and my sleep is awesome (but I still do the things I learned to overcome insomnia) however when extended fasting…like now (it’s 1am), I have way too much energy to sleep more than maybe 4 hours a night.
