I just ended an extended fast and I’ve been slowly sipping vegetable broth but I threw up about 2 hours ago and also with some bile . I was wondering if that was normal. Ive been drinking some luke warm water not to aggravate my stomach and give it time to sort itself out.
another question i have is about fruit. many things I read said to eat watermelon to help break fast because of it’s water content but for me for some reason something is telling me that would not be smart in my case. im actually really scared honestly to eat any fruit or any sugar stuff. i was thinking make next week have 1 or two strawberries and see how it goes from there. I just would like some insight on this and any feedback.
and lastly is it possible to stay in ketosis or maintain a keto diet when i avoid eating meat and dairy (vegan). ( i have absolutely nothing against anyone who does this is just my personal preference that has helped me a lot) . Ive been looking for a proper meal plan but my search results are just all over the place and sketchy websites. I cant afford to see a nutritionist if anyone has any advice or any websites that would help, I would be so grateful. thank you
If you want to enter keto watermelon is not ideal. I think you can eat keto but might be really tricky haave lot of variety easily. Omelets are great. Tofu and such is good option. Just Google recipies and you find Somero thing to your liking
How’s long was your fast? You might need electrolytes, particularly sodium. Maybe try some salted avocado? You first said no meat or dairy… then no animal products. What about eggs? (Yes, I know they’re animal products, simply clarifying if you’re vegetarian or vegan, as some people do ok breaking a fast with a egg or two.) Need more info!
