I’ve decided I want to do omad but im wondering when its the best time to eat. Should I eat in the morning, afternoon or evening?
Also how do you deal with the feelings of hunger? Ive been in a deficit for a while but ive never tried fasting.
The best time to OMAD is whatever time best fits your schedule. The ultimate goal is sustainability, so which meal time would be most conducive to your daily life?
Hunger is a temporary signal. Feelings of hunger decrease in frequency as you acclimate to OMAD.
Personally, I work 7 AM - 5 PM, workout for an hour, shower, make and have my dinner (OMAD). I go to bed around 11.
This allows me to go to sleep satisfied and I don’t wake up hungry.
Up to how you feel. Try your OMAD at all of those times. When I do OMAD, I can easily fast for longer periods in the morning/into the afternoon, but I have a hard time eating in the morning and going all the way to the next day. Not sure why, but just easier for me. I also do best sleeping with an empty stomach. I would try it out. Others need to have coffee in the AM so prefer a morning OMAD.
